Following a diverse career in retailing, the aerospace industry and advertising, Bill owned and operated McCoy Design Inc. in Hartford Connecticut from 1982 through 1997.
Since moving to Melbourne Beach to pursue a career in fine arts, he has been accepted into area juried art exhibits. McCoy most recently won "The Wednesday Group Award" at the Strawbridge Art League's annual juried show Vision and First Place Oil at the Melbourne Beach Art Festival.
Painting Style:
My studio paintings are strongly influenced by my plein air painting experiences. Impressionistic in style, I strive to create a sense of atmosphere, light and color harmony in my paintings. Most recently I've incorporated glazing techniques resulting in enhanced luminosity.
