Mildred Richardson
Bio:
Mildred is a local Melbourne, Florida artist who studied at the Chicago Art Institute in Chicago, Illinois. She has also studied with William Schultz, Clay Kent and Charles Reid.

She has been receiving awards in juried art shows since 1974 when she was awarded "First in Oil" and again in 1987 and 1988. She has also received merit awards and received the purchase award at BACAM in 1986.

Her works are in permanent collections at Harris Corporation, the First Florida Bank, at BACAM, two Supervisor of Elections offices, Harbor Junior College in San Pedro, California where she also studied.

One man shows include 1985 at First Florida Bank, 1989 at Maxwell King Center and in 1991 at Fifth Avenue Art Gallery in Melbourne, Florida.

She was published in 1991 on the 1991-1992 Maxwell King Center Program Cover.

Mildred is a past president of the Art Students Guild and Fifth Avenue Art Gallery and is also currently a member of the Artists Forum.
