Statement:
Nancy Crawford's paintings are impressionistic
transparent watercolors. They clearly reflect her commitment
to capturing a close observation of nature by painting light
and color.
"I paint because I am in love with
painting. I feel responsibility to my art and to myself to
produce an image that will share with the viewer my feelings
and thoughts. If through my art, I can make one more aware
of nature and conscious of its beauty, then I fell I have
been successful. If my watercolor makes the viewer reflect
on his own feelings, then I feel the painting is successful."
Nancy's paintings have received many national
and regional awards and are included in corporate and public
collections in the United States and abroad.
